Clean Harbors Regional Facility

In response to an application from the State of Colorado, the Board designated the Clean Harbors Deer Trail Facility (CHDTF) as a Regional Facility for the disposal of Radium Processing Wastes in 2005. On September 13, 2006, the Board expanded the designation of the CHDTF as a limited, non-exclusive Regional Facility for the disposal of certain NORM/TENORM wastes.

CHDTF is located about 65 miles east of Denver off of US Highway 36.
